ActivisionとTencent、『Call of Duty: Mobile』でゾンビモード配信開始！！ ゲームコントローラー対応も
ActivisionとTencentは、11月24日(米国時間)、『Call of Duty: Mobile』でゾンビモードの追加を発表した。
ゾンビモードの舞台は日本の「Shi no numa」(死の沼)と呼ばれる湿地帯で、大量のゾンビが生存者を狙っている。プレイヤーはそんな環境でソロ・あるいは他のプレイヤーと最大3人まで協力して戦うことができる。
またゾンビモードは、大量に襲いかかってくるゾンビの群れから生き残るクラシックモードと、ウェーブをクリアし登場するボスを倒すレイドモードを用意している。
プレイヤーは当初、ナイフとハンドガンで戦うことになるが、次第に強力な武器やバリゲードを設置も可能になるという。
また今回のアップデートによりPlayStation4とXboxのコントローラーに対応したとのこと。ただし、特定のAndroidデバイスのユーザーではPlayStation4のDUALSHOCK 4において正常に動作せず、調査を行っているとのこと。
